Hello Everyone!
Life has been very hectic lately but I'm slowly pounding away at the 10 assignments/papers and presentations in my classes along with the 6 tests I have in the next 2 weeks! I can't wait until my grade 2 placement starts on November 12th!!!! My dream of being a teacher will finally come true.
Transitioning to Thunder Bay has been tough and living on my own finally is very nice. However I miss my family so much and my friends at home. Constant emails, talking over the phone and Skype, and packages arriving in the mail are awesome and brighten my day!
Teacher's College is a lot of fun but it is a lot of work! I have 3 fantastic roommates and we are all different in our own ways. However we are always there for one another. Two of my roommates are from K-W and one is an exchange student from Sweden. Her boyfriend is here right now and it staying with us for 2 weeks. He's really nice. Jo (my Swedish roommate) is such a sweetheart and I will miss her so much when she goes back to Sweden at the end of December. :(
Weekly hockey games are a ritual with myself and 2 girls from down the hall. Lakehead's team is starting to win some games and it is always exciting to watch!
For those of you wondering how long my hair is getting it is hard to spike and my bangs reach the bridge of my nose!!!!
I will be flying home on December 15th early in the morning and I can't wait to see everyone!
I will keep this website up to date and I will add new pictures all the time!!!! That way everyone can stay in touch and see all the beautiful sights of Thunder Bay .... including all the rain!!!
